BASF has recorded a world first.

It’s the first company to present a comprehensive carbon balance for everything that it does. And by doing so they discovered that BASF products save three times more greenhouse gas emissions than they create by producing and disposing of them in the first place.

It’s a real step in the right direction for climate protection but the good news doesn’t stop there. BASF has committed €400 million a year on developing new, innovative technologies that will help protect our climate by improving energy efficiency, resource conservation and the availability of renewable raw materials.
