There are number of green banks available now. Think about switching to one of those. They will use your money by investing in greener business. - Offset Some Carbon
Next time you fly, offset your carbon with a carbon company. They will redirect your money toward ethical investments.

Check out who lives nearby and does the same journeys as you. Can you car-share or give them a lift?
- Grow your Own
Only possible if you have a garden. If you do, why not plant a fruit tree instead of a fancy maple, it will give you a lot more for your money!

If you are lucky enough to have a garden, mulch it with wood chips from a local tree surgeon – they usually have plenty and they are either free, or cheaper than bark. - Compost
Get a cheap compost bin, or if you have a big enough garden, or allotment, then make one. Place it in a sunny position and chuck all your garden waste into it. In six months you'll have free compost. - Send this list to a friend!
