News: Now for a bit of luxurySasha has been inspired by Rob's exhortation to the group to be more ambitious. She is a convert to the idea that they could try to make the dump into an eco-village by the time they leave. A couple of days ago Rob enlisted her and Jermaine's help to build a hot-tub for the group out of an old bath, a radiator and some copper piping. This whetted her appetite and now she's embarked on a much bigger project - a full dump health spa.

From model to DIY enthusiast

This represents a huge turnaround for Sasha who admitted she had no practical skills. But now she's got the DIY bug and she hopes that creating an area for fun and relaxation will boost the group's morale and show just how much can be achieved with the materials on the dump.

The most complicated bit of the spa is the sauna, which will be built out of old palettes and wrapped in plastic sheeting to insulate it. Sasha gets cracking: 'Men's work is fun,' she decides, holding her hands up to show the proof of her hard toil. The usually pristine part-time model adds: 'My hands are all wrinkly and disgusting. My nails are disgusting, so I think I can officially say that I am a proper builder.'

Finally, the day comes for the grand opening of 'Sasha's Rubbish Spa'. 'This just goes to prove that we don't have to have a rubbish lifestyle just because we live on a dump,' Sasha announces.

News: Now for a bit of luxurySylvia and Aaron strip off

Sylvia and Aaron agree to be first in and somewhat sheepishly strip off to reveal very fetching dump tans (arms and neck brown, everything else slightly pasty), before hopping into the sauna. The sauna has been a success, so much so that in fact the three of them decided to move in and sleep in there from now on (to get away from the snorers in the main shelter).

Rob is delighted: 'What's great about this is that they've changed the context of this rubbish into high value, high status items. So it's like the ultimate objective of what we're trying to achieve here.'

In celebration, Sasha and Aaron have a hot tub together. 'We've got better facilities here than most of us have at home and that's quite weird really,' Sasha notes as they watch the sun set from the tub. It could almost be a scene from a relaxing tropical holiday if it wasn't for the big mountain of rubbish looming over them.
