Day 16

The roof goes on the shelter. Most of the day is dedicated to preventing it from leaking.

Rob gets the group to walk over to the scrapyard area where there is a large mound of electronic goods. He explains that this is the amount of electronic goods each of them will get through in their life. He also talks about what a big complicated problem electronic waste is.

Day 17

The camp is in a state. Their half-finished shelter has leaked everywhere during the night. Everyone is scattered and wet so the group start work on putting the final touches to the shelter to get it watertight.

It is time for the group to stir their poo in the composter. Jermaine and Selena do it together. Rob brings in a present for the group. It's a box of tiger worms. He thrusts it at Sasha and she screams. He explains that they'll eat anything, 'even your shit'. He encourages them each to handle the worms and put them in the compost. Aaron names his Wiggly Woo: 'Wiggly Woo – eat my poo'.

It is the official opening of 'Sasha's Rubbish Spa'. Sasha and Aaron jump in the sauna and jacuzzi together.

Rob reveals to them that they have a special recycling challenge for tomorrow and they have to pick four people to do it. They pick Aaron, Sasha, Jermain and Ian. Rob gives Aaron the alarm clock and tells him to set it for 5.30am.

Day 18

The day starts early at 5.30am. A dust cart arrives to take Aaron, Sasha, Jermaine and Ian on a round of the bins. They jump on the lorry excitedly.

After they've been on the bin round, the dust cart tips the rubbish on their dump. All of the group have to sort through the household waste to see just how much stuff could have been put in the recycling bins, but instead the residents have sent it straight to landfill.

As a reward for sorting the rubbish the group are told they will receive a bio-diesel generator.

Day 19

The group fill their prize of a bio-diesel generator and turn it on. They all cheer! Sylvia and Jason connect the wires and bring power to the camp.

Jason and Christine scavenge for electrical items and carry them back to camp. Christine is excited to find the lava lamp and the foot-spa.

Aaron has decided to take on the task of making a pizza oven for the group.

The scrap man arrives and the group pools together all of its scavenged copper and whatever else. They have scavenged lots more and are feeling confident. They make £120 and decided to pay for the rental of An Inconvenient Truth to watch on the DVD combi they found. Aaron wants to watch Borat and is annoyed – he'd like a night off from green stuff.

Rob comes into camp and announces their carbon footprint order according to the questionnaires they filled out earlier in the week.

Day 20

The dumper turns up with a delivery of clothes and party items. Everyone starts trying on their suits and dresses for the final night party.

Sylvia cooks and they have a party for their last night on the dump.

Day 21

It's rained overnight and there is mud everywhere.

The group pack their bags and get ready to go home. As the bus pulls up to take them back there is one final surprise – their families and friends step off. The group then showed their nearest and dearest round their living area, their composting toilets, their solar shower, their sauna…
