Donna's rules
Introduced after a week of living with Lee:
- Meals are to be eaten at the table and only at the table
- Bed-times are to introduced. The oldest kids are to be in bed by 8:30pm and Lee is to be in bed by 10:30pm.

Kelly's rules
Introduced after a week of living with Craig:
- The household timetable is to be thrown away
- There will be no set meal-times; people in the house can eat when they want
- There are to be no set bed-times; the kids can go to bed at whenever they like
- The family will eat a different diet; food such as beans and homemade chips are to be available to them if they want them
