Jodi's household manual
Before filming starts, each wife writes a manual explaining how their house is run. Below are highlights from Jodi's manual.
HOUSEHOLD CHORES
How often do you clean your home?
I don't clean and never have. I can afford to pay for someone to do it for me so I have four nannies and a housekeeper and they do it.
Who does the general cleaning around the house?
My home must be 100% clean; I have very high standards and I would have a panic attack if the house wasn't immaculate. Maria the cleaner does 10 hours, four times a week.

WHO DOES THE FOLLOWING, AND HOW OFTEN?
Vacuuming?
Our housekeeper vacuums for one hour, four times a week.
Dusting?
I don't dust – the housekeeper does it. She knows I didn't spend a lot of money on the furniture to see it get dusty.
Straightening up?
I want the apartment to look sophisticated, and hate disorder or chaos. We don't allow toys to be left outside the bedrooms. The house is so neat that when people come here they wouldn't know that we have children.
Ironing?
The housekeeper does all of the ironing including bedding and I have the beds changed four times a week. Maria organises our linen closets according to colour order.
Cleaning the bathroom?
The housekeeper cleans our three bathrooms; 20 minutes each bathroom, 4 times a week.
Cleaning the kitchen?
We have a dishwasher and the nannies or housekeeper clean up after the kids have eaten.
Cleaning the car?
We have two cars. Our driver, Arthur, is expected to keep them immaculate.
Decorating?
A well-decorated home is very important to me. When we moved into our home I hired an interior decorator to create a chic look for the apartment.

COOKING / MEALS
How often do you sit down and eat together?
We never really eat at home as a family. The children eat in the kitchen with the nanny. Steven and I dine out most nights.
Who prepares meals?
I am not interested in cooking; I'm not a traditional wife. I pay other people to cook for the children. At the weekend I order breakfast in and we eat out as a family.
Does Steven help with dinner?
He'll occasionally make breakfast.

DAILY ROUTINE
What time do you get up?
I get up at 7.45am to say goodbye to the children. Steven will drop them at school before going to the office.
How much time do you need to get ready in the morning?
The nanny arrives at 7.15am and gets the kids dressed and ready for the day. I stay in bed until it's time to say goodbye to the children.
What time do you go to bed?
I go to bed at 11pm and watch TV until 1am.
DISCIPLINE
Who does the childcare? What does it involve
With four nannies, they look after the children, cook and clean.
How do you discipline the children?
The kids get time outs and talked to. They're still young and pretty well behaved so we don't need to punish them as such.
THE RELATIONSHIP
What tips can you give for coping with Steven?
I always like to look great for Steven; he likes to be made an effort for and respected.
How do you like to be treated?
I like to be catered for, respected and – of course – I love to be spoiled.
HOUSE PHILOSOPHY
Please sum up the philosophy of this house and life within it.
It's important to look good and feel healthy.
Being a mother and wife doesn't mean you should let yourself go.
Everyone needs ‘me time’ away from the family.
We believe money is there to be spent.
I believe that if you can afford other people to do it, why do domestic chores? After all, they're boring.
A happy marriage needs romance and it's important to make time for it.
