Jodi
Jodi is a Manhattan mum and a multi-millionaire heiress. She lives with husband, Steven, and their three children: Griffin (7); Gage (6) and Peyton (2).
Q: Why did you want to be on Wife Swap?
A: A friend of mine had heard of the UK show and told me about it. Once we had found out a little more about it, Steven and I both thought it sounded like a good experience.
Q: What parts of the swap did you enjoy?
A: I really enjoyed spending time with the girls – we had a lot of fun.
Q: What parts of the swap did you find hardest?
A: Brad was really hard going in the first week. We sorted a lot of things out later and became friends, but he was tough going at the start.
Q: How did your family cope with the swap?
A: Steven found it difficult. He's a laid-back guy and so was Lynn, and in some ways that made things worse. One of the rule changes was that he had to be home at 6.30pm, but he runs his own business with hundreds of employees and it just isn't possible. He found it hard having to try to make that work.
The kids were fine and enjoyed it until the end when Lynn left the way she did. That upset them because it upset Steven.
Q: Do you relate to your family differently?
A: We've always been a close family but now we make an even bigger effort to spend time more together. We also eat meals together much more often.
Q: Has it changed you at all?
A: I spend less time as ‘me time’ now. I also like to be home when the kids get home from school.
Q: Would you do it again?
A: It was a great experience and I would have that experience all over again, but I don't know if I would do another swap as I feel that I've done it now.

Lynn
Lynn is a hard-working mum from a blue-collar family and lives with Brad, a woodsman and their two daughters Laura (12) and Hannah (11). She drives a school bus and chops wood for six hours a day.
Q: Why did you want to be on Wife Swap?
A: I had seen an advert in the paper, at the end of an article about the show. I spoke to my husband and daughters about it and we all thought it would be fun. I also thought that it would be a good opportunity to learn.
Q: What parts of the swap did you enjoy?
A: I really enjoyed the experience as a whole. I liked learning about other people's lifestyles and I loved the kids – they were great.
Q: What parts of the swap did you find hardest?
A: I only really had problems with Steven. He was … a handful.
Q: How did your family cope with the swap?
A: Brad found it difficult at first – I think he expected someone to come in and immediately fill my shoes. But, he and Jodi actually became friends at the end. The girls really enjoyed having Jodi around and had a lot of fun. To them, she was more like an older sister than a mum.
Q: Do you relate to your family differently?
A: I think I'm the same, but they relate differently to me. Brad changed a lot after the show – he helps me out a lot more now. My eldest daughter has picked up a lot of responsibility around the house since the show. They all appreciate me more too.
Q: Has it changed you at all?
A: It's reassured me that I'm doing a good job as a mum. I went into the experience feeling happy with our way of life and who we are and feel even more reassured now.
Q: Would you do it again?
A: Of course! It was a great experience – it's good to learn about other people and how they live their lives.
