Introduced after a week living with Paul:
- Paul focuses too much on his appearance and vanity is expensive. Leesa feels it's a front and will buy him cheap clothes from the supermarket. Can he be the same person in them?
- Paul is to cook dinner for the family for the week of the rule-change

Introduced after a week living with Mick:
- Mick needs to be 'more of a man' and face up to his emotions
- As soon as Mick gets home from work, he is to change into smart, casual clothes.
- Melissa will have a hamster. She can name it herself – as long as it's middle name is Dawn.
