What did you think about spending time away from your family?
I’m used to spending time away from my family and I knew they were going to be looked after, so it wasn’t a problem for me to be away from them.

How did you find doing the swap?
I thought the swap generally went well, although I found the cleaning boring.

What bits of the swap did you enjoy?
I really enjoyed finding out about Yvonne and her family and how they lived their lives differently.

What bits of the swap did you find the hardest?
Again, probably all of the cleaning and sitting around waiting to clean more.

How did your family cope with the swap?
My kids coped really well but I think it took Ian a while to get used to the cameras.

Do you relate to your family differently now?
No, to be honest we just went straight back to how things were before I left.

Has it changed you?
I wouldn’t say it has changed me but I think it has changed Ian as he’s more attentive to me now.

Would you do it all again?
I really enjoyed doing the swap, but I think once is enough for me!
