Debbie and Angie swap places

An explosive Wife Swap episode sees Debbie Doody, long-suffering wife and full-time mother change place with Angie Townsend, part-time mum and full-time owner of a hair salon. Debbie Doody, aged 30, wants nothing more in life than to be a full-time mum, she wants to be at home with her two sons, Matt (12) and Sam (7), "I'd give my life for my boys", she says "my husband comes third: after the boys and the dog".

Angie Townsend lives life at 100 miles an hour, she runs a successful hair salon, as well as combining a family of three girls and one husband. It's not just the staff at the salon who adore Angie, her girls love her too, "she's my role model - there's no one like her" affirms 18-year-old Kelly. "I'm so proud of my family" affirms Angie, not knowing that 15-year-old Sophie has said she's unhappy at boarding school, and that her youngest, Jemimah, nine-years-old, says that she would like to spend more time with her mum, "but she's always working".

When Debbie tries to change the regime in Angie's new house and become a full-time mum to them all, how does she cope with a rebellious Kelly who continually rebels against her rules? How will Angie, who's used to living life at full speed, cope in a family where relaxing is a way of life? And what will Mike, spoiled husband and computer game addict, make of being given a list of house-work to do?
