Have you been to a modern holiday camp before? Did you enjoy it?
Sophie had been to Butlins with my sister when she was 10. She loved it. But I refused to go!

What do you normally do for a holiday?
My sister and I usually take the kids to a nice hotel in Corfu and relax on the beach for a week.

Did you enjoy being in the 1960s?
It was wonderful!

Did you both feel the same about your experience?
Yes, very much so.

Who enjoyed it the most? And why?
We'd had to drag Sophie along, but she ended up enjoying it the most. She loved the clothes and the fashions.

What was the best thing about the 60s? And the worst?
The best thing were the fashions and the worst, the food!

What was your favourite activity?
The dancing was a favourite for both of us.

Did you learn anything from the experience?
Tolerance and enjoyment of meeting people from all sorts of different backgrounds. The team spirit was great.

Would you rather holiday in a 60s camp or a modern camp?
1960s

Was there anything you missed about modern living?
Yes, our mobile phones!
