Vee Challenge – to try out Parkour

Vee TV gave me an opportunity to be reporter to find out about Parkour – I was very excited because I have always wanted to learn how to Parkour after watching ‘Jump London’ on Channel 4 few years ago. But I was also nervous. I just kept wondering what if I break my ankle or an arm? Or what if I have to go and climb to the top of a building? That were some of the ways I was nervous about learning how to Parkour but I was still excited about it.
When I first met Chase Armitage and his friends, they were so cool and laid-back which made me feel relaxed and confident. My jaw almost hit the ground after watching them doing Parkour – they were so professional and brave. I really appreciated that they had the time to teach me bit of Parkour – such as the ‘Cat Leap’, a small ‘Accuracy Jump’ and more. That made me more full of adrenaline and excited, I know it was only small step and walls but I know it will be even more adrenaline-racing if you go on very high wall. I really enjoyed it very much and was so pleased to meet the group.
Now I’m keen to learn more about Parkour – it is not all about jumping around, but it is very good for you – it is good exercise and makes your body more flexible. If you’re not keen on yoga, Parkour is the perfect alternative because it will help your body to be more flexible, fitter and is more thrilling. I’m really pleased I grabbed this opportunity.
