VEE- Challenge – to learn freestyle football with Daniel Magness

When VEE-TV asked me to do a football challenge for them, I was really up for it because I'm a footy fanatic. When I met Daniel Magness, I was totally in awe of him. My jaw practically hit the ground when I saw him doing his tricks. I thought it would be something like... a hundred keepies up or something like that. The way he was totally relaxed and controlling the ball at the same time was just... WOW.
When he showed me my first challenge, I thought it was relatively easy... Until I did it. I've lost count of the times the ball hit my bum. Kinda embarrassing as it's on TV. After that challenge, I wasn't feeling too confident seeing as I failed the first one, but amazingly I managed it. Felt really happy.

By the third challenge, I was raring to go until I saw what I'd had to do. I remember thinking, 'How on earth am I going to do that?! It's IMPOSSIBLE! I'm just going to embarrass myself on TV again....' But I just went for it and got it right the first go. Was unbelievably happy and didn't want to do it again as I thought I would've cocked it up and they would show it on TV.
So I quit when I was ahead. It was interesting interviewing Daniel, hearing about how he got into freestyling, where he's been and what his future plans were. Who knows, maybe one day when I'm past my peak, I'll switch to freestyling. Got some tricks up my sleeves already, courtesy of Daniel.
