The new series of VEE-TV goes out on Sundays at around 8.30am with a repeat very late on Wednesday nights – check listings.
There are lots of exciting new features in this year's series, following on from the innovative full-length episodes of RUSH. VEE-TALENT will be talking to a range of talented deaf people from the arts, entertainment and sports worlds. Our reporters will also be putting your questions to some top celebrities – so watch out for news of forthcoming star interviews.
In VEE-SIGN, a celebration of sign-language and the way people use it, young people from around the country will be telling us what their favourite sign is and why. And in VEE-DVD, four film buffs will be reviewing the latest releases.
We will once again be recording as live shortly before broadcast, so we can cover and debate the hot issues. VEE-VIEW will once again present the view from the street, and VEE-WORLD will be linking up by webcam to more young people and events around the world.
As always, we want to hear from you – what you think about the programmes, what you would like to see in future, and your opinions about anything else that affects deaf young people. There are two ways of getting in touch: you can leave a message on the message board or e-mail us directly at comments@vee-tv.com.
Each week this website will cover the main items and provide vital background and extras for those who want to find out more. So get browsing!
VEE-TV is a co-production between two award-winning companies, Maverick and Resource Base.
