IUK Deaf Camp
The IUK Deaf Camp is scheduled this year for 4–11 August. It's an
annual summer camp for young deaf people aged 13–17 from any part
of the UK or Ireland. There will be workshops, speakers and activities.

Youth work conference
The BDA Deaf Youth Worker Forum Conference 2005 will take place from 23
to 25 September in Belfast. It is open to anyone interested in deaf youth

City Lit Deaf Day
The City Lit Centre for Deaf People will be holding its 'Deaf Day' on
30 July from 10am to 4.30pm in their newly-rebuilt centre. For more information,

RAD Youth Clubs
If you are aged between 13 and 21, you are welcome to join any RAD youth
club. All you need to do is turn up at one of the clubs and fill in a
membership form. The RAD clubs are listed on its website. If there are
no clubs near you, you can still join the RAD as a youth member and take
part in activities.

Accessible cinema competition
Three DVD/MP3 players, three DVD box sets of The Incredibles,
and 20 pairs of cinema tickets are up for grabs if you complete the survey
on the Your
Local Cinema website. Closing date: 30 June.
Course for artists
North West Disability Arts Forum is holding a six-days course in May and
July for disabled/deaf artists interested in working with children and
young people. It is free and travel and support costs will be met. For

Dance workshops
The Foundation for Community Dance is organising Training and Networking

Comedy of Errors
The new production of A Comedy of Errors at Queen's Theatre,

Pop art
On 26 June at 11am, deaf artist Niall McCormack will be introducing the
work of leading pop artists David Hockney, Richard Hamilton and Peter

Cricket trials
If you are interested in demonstrating or developing your cricket skills
and becoming part of a Yorkshire squad and/or the England Deaf Team, turn

Athletes wanted
Deaf UK Athletics are looking for new athletes to work towards the next
Deaflympics and other international competitions. The next training session
will be on 7 May at Northwood Stadium, Keelings Road, Stoke on Trent.
