VEE-TALENT
This week Aysin Halil, who is 18 and from London, demonstrated
his favourite sign.
View clip
'Poetry,' said Robert Frost, 'is what gets lost in translation.' Poetry may
not be what's on your mind when you use this sign, but it is a sign that demonstrates
how unsatisfactory translation can be. As Aysin explained, the sign expresses
the sort of thing you feel if you're late for work, your train is cancelled,
and you've just realised that the clocks went back the day before.
