VEE-STAR: Housemates' choice Stuart Wilson was so popular in the Big Brother house that he was never nominated by any of his housemates for eviction. But how did he get chosen for the house in the first place? Could Stuart give our Matty - who has auditioned to be a housemate in the next series - any tips? 'There's thousands of people there, so you have to stand out – no chance unless you make an impression any way you can. Anything just to get their attention at the beginning. 'When the producer rang me on the phone, I was in my bedroom at home and I wanted to scream.' What about getting evicted? 'It was a massive shock … To be told I was leaving was hard – I never felt so much emotion. Just unbelievable. But great to be back with my friends. A high point of my life.' And afterwards? 'Well, we had so much to do all over the place – media, parties, awards – so the first two months were a whirlwind. Then things settled back to normal. I'm having a gap year now, getting back into study and enjoying the aftermath. It's still strange – people recognise you on a night out. Drunks always want a picture on their phone. It has changed things a lot.' So would he do it again? 'Definitely.' More info All about Stuart and his time in the house All the BB archives
