Michael is a deaf
tutor at the college and is very popular with the students because he
is sympathetic and understanding, always doing his best to be both counsellor
and friend. Sharp, witty and original in his thinking, he is a passionate
campaigner for Deaf rights.
Deaf actor John Wilson
began acting in amateur theatricals while working in the British Museum

winner of an Edinburgh Fringe First, and Children Of A Lesser God,
in which he played Orin. He has also worked on TV as a presenter on both
See Hear (BBC) and Sign On (Channel 4) and as an actor in
a number of plays.
