AJ

AJ is a local boy, cool and confident – and a bit of a troublemaker – who hangs out on the streets with two friends. We meet him in the first episode, picking on Troy in Errol's record shop.

AJ is played by 20-year-old Jason Knight. Although Jason has no previous acting experience, writer/director Ray Harrison Graham thought he would be perfect for the part because of his past, which was similar to AJ's – but that's all behind him now. Jason wants to dedicate his first acting role in the drama to the memory of his father Frank Knight, who died while the drama was being edited.
