Adam Adam is a bright, hard-working deaf student with a passion for film and making films. Sociable, funny, and very well liked, he makes time for everyone and the other students tend to treat him as a confidant. He lacks confidence with girls, so he's gauche, clumsy and tends to play the joker in their company, and they tend to see him as a lovable big brother and not a potential date. He's in love with Kelly and would do anything to help her. Adam is played by Jason Taylor, who was born in Woolwich, south-east London in 1978. Jason was educated at Oak Lodge School for deaf students in Wandsworth and left in 1995 to study drama and the performing arts at South Thames College at Putney. Since achieving B-Tech National Diploma, Jason has appeared on stage in Spirit of a Clown and Dreamcatcher with the Unicorn Theatre, Woyzeck with Graeae Theatre and Midsummer Night's Dream with the Shakespeare Link Company. Jason has also appeared in Channel 4's Strong Language and BBC 2's documentary Who Killed Max Faulkner and has acted in various corporate videos. Jason's interests include football, tae kwon do and swimming and he's a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. |
