Episode 3

Kelly refuses to go out with her mother and Alan, her mother’s boyfriend. Michael has a slight conflict with his head of faculty about his brand of Deaf politics – and Annie asks him out for a drink. Nigel desperately wants to be in Adam’s film and keeps cooking up ideas to get himself included. Troy reveals that his deafness will prevent him from realising his ambition to be a professional basketball player, and this is causing him great distress. He loses his temper with Adam. Mel is falling behind at college and partying too hard.
