Adam

Adam

Adam is in many ways the centre of the group of friends. Sociable, funny, and well liked, he's someone who can be relied on, and he's very sensitive to the moods and needs of the others.

Jason Taylor, who plays Adam, talked to VEE-TV about the role. 'Adam has changed a lot since the death of Kara. He's always been a thoughtful person, but now he's had time to reflect on his life and see a bigger picture.

'For me, it was great making RUSH, but even more exciting this time was driving a camper van. I loved it and I wouldn't mind driving it again!'

Jason was born in Woolwich, south-east London, in 1978. He went to Oak Lodge School for deaf students in Wandsworth and then studied drama and the performing arts at South Thames College in Putney.

Jason has worked extensively with Ray Harrison Graham, RUSH's writer/director. He has played Woyzeck in Büchner's play of the same name for Graeae Theatre Company, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream for Shakespeare Link, Nice Guy Eddie in Reservoir Wolves for Remark!, and Ben in Channel 4's Strong Language. He has also been involved in forum theatre with Greenwich Young People's Theatre, played Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, and directed the first ever performance by children on National Holocaust Memorial Day. Most recently Jason has been involved in Who Cares! and Lion Mountain, two short films written by Ray Harrison Graham for the production company Resource Base, commissioned by the BBC. Lion Mountain won a One World Media Award and a BAFTA for Best Children's Drama.

For the future, Jason is interested in writing and directing as well as acting.
