Adam and Troy finally meet to discuss Adam's sister's child, Kara. Adam is already thinking he must contact Social Services to sort out Kara's future. Troy says that if Kara is definitely his, he would be prepared to apply for custody.
Maya goes to visit Kelly and finds Wayne staying there. Meanwhile, Nicky is also looking for Wayne, to find out what happened to all the money from their drugs scam. Nicky is feeling very low no job, no prospects, no family support, only debts. And now Wayne seems to have done a runner. The only good thing in Nicky's life seems to be his friendship with Mel.
Adam and Troy go round to Annie's to get her advice about applying for custody of Kara. It looks as though Annie is expecting a visitor for an intimate dinner, but she says they've cancelled. Was she hoping Adam would return alone?
Kelly goes home to her flat and is pleased to see Wayne. They talk, and gradually draw closer, but Kelly pulls away as they kiss. She tells Wayne her reluctance is to do with the sexual abuse she has been a victim of. Wayne reacts very emotionally. He tells Kelly he was abused too, by his father. She kisses him and tries to comfort him and they start to make love.
Meanwhile, at the lapdancing club, Casey asks Mel to stay behind after she's finished work. He seems determined to make her have sex with him, and though she resists at first, she is frightened and doesn't know how to stop him.
