Vicky

Vicky, Kelly's mother, had a traumatic break-up with her husband and tried to put her life back together with Alan, an ex-boyfriend. When Kelly revealed that Alan had sexually abused her, Vicky was racked with guilt for bringing Alan into their home.

Joy Harrison, who plays Vicky, has a long list of theatre and TV credits, in productions including Catherine Cookson's Colour Blind and Alan Bleasdale's Oliver and Melissa, as well as The Heart Surgeon, The Bill, and Grafters II. She played Olivia in Twelfth Night at the Theatre Royal, Bath, a guest lead in the BBC series Doctors and spent several weeks filming in Iran, playing Ms Talend in the children's feature film Ali & Danny. Joy also played Rose in Ray Harrison Graham's Who Cares?.
