Episode 3Nigel surprises Michael by turning up at the college. Nigel has left his girlfriend, Miriam, and has nowhere to stay. Michael suggests he sleeps in the caretaker's office till he's sorted something out. Adam finds Maya and Kelly with Troy, and Maya and Troy leave Adam and Kelly alone together. Kelly feels Adam has been ignoring her and doesn't understand why. But Adam thinks Kelly has rejected him and is only making excuses by saying that she isn't ready for a relationship with anyone. In the park, Maya and Troy talk about children and the future. Troy seems more mature, ready to settle down. Maya's feelings for Troy are clear, but there's an obvious attraction between Troy and Maya's friend Bella, which Maya finds very painful. Desperate for work to survive, Mel gets a job in a lapdancing club. The owner, Casey, has lots of other business interests and we hear him talking on the phone to someone about a drugs scam clearly the one Nicky was involved in. We find out that Casey's caller was Nicky's brother Vince. Casey has put Vince under pressure to sort things out, and Vince tells Nicky he must find the money to pay back the people he ripped off. Vince isn't going to sort it for him Nicky is on his own. |
