Maya takes Anjali to a nightclub. Anjali was to be allowed just one drink, but the next morning Anil discovers the two of them sleeping in their clubbing clothes, horribly hungover. He is furious and forbids Anjali to go to college with Maya again.
Richard turns up at Mel's door demanding that she returns his mobile phone. As he shouts at her, Mel uses the phone to call Richard's wife – we hear her answer and grow increasingly confused and distressed by the sound of Richard with another woman.
At Annie's rehearsal, Tony has taken over the lead role in Cabaret
and has a real talent for dance. Michael is impressed, and invites Tony
for the drink they've never had. Waiting for Tony in the changing room,
the two are drawn together. As they kiss, Nigel emerges from the shadows,
watching.
