Nigel, the college caretaker, is in a bar losing heavily at cards. Eventually he puts his keys on the table: to win something back, he's prepared to bet his home. The game continues.
Vicky comes into college and surprises her daughter Kelly. She says she has been to see a solicitor. Vicky feels very guilty that she brought Alan, who sexually abused Kelly, into their lives. Kelly refuses to talk about it.
Troy invites Maya to a party at the new flat, and Adam invites Kelly. As the two girls get ready, Kelly guesses that Maya is going to a lot of trouble because she fancies Troy.
When the girls arrive, the flat looks very rough and there's no sign of a party – just Troy and Adam with a mop and bucket for each of them.
Back in the bar, Nigel loses his latest bet – his home. Casey allows
him one week to pay. If he doesn't come up with the money, they'll be
round...
