Vicky

Vicky, Kelly's mother, had a traumatic break-up with her husband and tried to put her life back together with Alan, a boyfriend from her past. Now Kelly has revealed that Alan has sexually abused her, and Vicky is racked with guilt for bringing Alan into their home.

Joy Harrison, who plays Vicky, has a long list of theatre and TV credits, in productions including Catherine Cookson's Colour Blind and Alan Bleasdale's Oliver and Melissa, as well as The Heart Surgeon, The Bill, and Grafters II. At the end of last year she played Olivia in Twelfth Night at the Theatre Royal, Bath, and she recently filmed a guest lead in the BBC series Doctors. Last year she spent several weeks filming in Iran, playing Ms Talend in the children's feature film Ali & Danny. Joy also directs, and she is currently in Shanghai, in China, running drama workshops for the British Council.
