Episode 12Kelly tells the story of her abuse to a counsellor. It began when she was a small child and she can now see for the first time that she was not in any way to blame, whatever Alan has tried to make her believe. Michael visits Tony backstage before the first night of the college's production of Cabaret with a 'good luck' card. Picking his time really badly, he also finishes their relationship. He has been troubled by growing so close to one of the students and feels it can't go any further. Tony nevertheless manages to deliver a show-stopping performance. The others are all helping backstage, but their minds are on Mel. Then Adam arrives with the news that Mel is going to be OK. As they celebrate, Nicky interrupts the curtain call and jumps onto the stage to announce his release from prison.
