Psychologist's View - Joker In The Pack
It's the penultimate day in the House - and tensions are running very high indeed...
With just one day to go of Teen Big Brother - The Experiment, tensions
in the House are running amok.
"Under times of stress," says psychiatrist Dr Gareth
Smith, "the group have previously relied on Paul to divert
attention through his behaviour."
Today, however, Paul is upset with Jade and Tracey and this leaves
a vacancy in the group dynamic.
"For the first time in nine days," says Dr Gareth, "we
see James stepping into the limelight."
In the penultimate day James seems to inherit Paul's role as the
House exhibitionist and joker.

"Psychologists," says Dr Gareth, "have proven that
laughter stimulates endorphins causing relaxation and a natural
high. James seems to intuitively recognise this and uses his behaviour
to lighten the mood."
Joking about proves to be very therapeutic and James' messing around
makes the group come together again. It seems laughter really is
the best medicine.
