 
Task Two - The Airline
Day Two and the gang get their teeth into a high-flying task...
Day Two's major task was a tough one, designed to test the housemates'
quick thinking, ability to work as a team, and navigation skills.
The eight were told they must navigate a simulated Boeing 747 aircraft
from London to Birmingham.
There would be several roles to choose from - pilot and co-pilot,
air traffic controller and cabin crew.
The housemates were given instructions and equipment and told to
practise their task.
Other skills tested by the airline task include leadership, communication,
ability under pressure and following instructions.
Sticking power and dedication would also be analysed, as the task
was designed to last all day - so the housemates would barely get
a rest from their aeronautical examination!
