You Decide!
Making decisions as a group can be a very tough task indeed...
The first collective decision for the housemates was choosing the lucky person to unblock the toilet! They've only been in the House a matter of minutes but the excitable teenagers needed to steady their nerves for the first practical task.
As hairdresser Paul discovered the toilet was blocked, he was the one who went into the Diary Room to get the plumbing equipment and instruction video.
The youngsters gathered on the sofas to watch the demonstration but it quickly became clear that Jade, Tommy, Hasan and Tracey had no intention of solving the problem. They sat back, making negative comments and waited for someone else to volunteer.
Tracey excused herself from the task because she didn't want to ruin her nails and Caroline simply stated, "I never clean." So Paul volunteered, reasoning that his need was greatest. "I'm going to have to do this because I really need to pee," he laughed.
Once Paul had taken charge, Shaneen was his assistant, holding the bucket while the others looked on making less-than-mature remarks like, "Euch, this is mingin'!"
The group's second task involved a much greater level of decision making. The housemates were told to use a flight simulator to fly a mock-aeroplane from London to Birmingham. Between them, the teenagers need to decide who takes the roles of pilot, co-pilot, air traffic controller and several flight attendants.

"I'm an air hostess!" shouted Paul, jumping up and down with excitement when he set eyes on the uniforms.
But Caroline immediately put herself forward for the most responsible role of pilot, telling the others she had used a computer flight simulator before.
But if she failed to land the plane safely, the housemates could lose the task and live off a budget of just £27 for the rest of the week. Caroline didn't seem put off by the responsibility. In fact, she rose to the challenge and immediately started practising.
Tommy offered to be her co-pilot but seemed more interested in the smart uniform than his job description. "This is wicked," he laughed, looking down at his suit.
Shaneen took the next key role of air traffic controller and set about learning her lines. James chose the role of chief flight attendant and the other housemates Tracey, Paul, Hasan and Jade opted for the less demanding roles of flight attendants.
Because Caroline crashed the plane on landing, the housemates failed their task. On Day Two, they were given a shopping budget of just £27.37. This means they have to decide which items are essential.
The housemates agreed that tea and coffee were essential, but as Tracey doesn't drink either, she argued that they are not essential to her. A row broke out between Tracey and Paul, so Shaneen, who wrote the shopping list decided to make a compromise and orderered hot chocolate for Tracey. This showed that Shaneen considered both arguments and came up with a solution that worked for all the housemates.
But the ultimate decision for the housemates comes on Day Five, when they sit down together and decide who should win Big Brother. Not surprisingly, it all ends in tears...
