How did the housemates deal with relationships in the House?
Put eight 18-year-olds in a House together and what do you get? A very intense set of relationships, and not just the type you might think...
Smells like team spirit
During their stay in the famous abode, the gang were given various tasks and challenges, forcing them to work as a unit and bond more quickly than they would in any other environment.
On Day One and the gang had to get deep down and dirty when they discovered an overflowing bog. "The toilet's flooded!" panicked Paul, but no sooner had he thrown a mini-hissy fit, than the plucky eight had come together and fixed the problem.
It was an early bonding experience that paved the way for the sterling team spirit during the BB Airlines task when, after every part of the task had been successfully completed, pilot Caroline went and crashed the plane nose first into the runway.
Rather than seeing it as her individual failure however, the gang quickly made the Ashford gal aware that they saw the crash as a group calamity. "Don't worry, darling," Paul urged. "You got us all the way there," Tracey encouraged.
By the time of the Spanish song-writing task, the gang proved that when called to work as one they could do it with flying colours. And never did more calls of geeing-on, support and general hilarity fill the air!
Let's talk about sex
On Days One, Two and Three in the House, the general consensus was that if any of the gang were going to get it on it'd be Tracey and Tommy.
But as it turned out, the Weymouth lad got steamy under the sheets
with Jade when a hand massage led on to something more serious.
The events of the evening were never replicated by Tommy and Jade or any of the others. But on the following morning, a few awkward silences hung heavily in the air.
In their defence, the pair never let their need for physical contact that night affect the group. After the aforementioned hot 'n' heavy few hours, it was like it had never happened!
Best pals and bitch buddies
It didn't take long for the gang to splinter off into three definite sets of pairs. While the eight could work together as group when they wanted to, they were basically happier in one-on-one scenarios.
Tellingly, the only two housemates not to find a soulmate were evictees Hasan and Shaneen.
Paul and Jade became best mates and enjoyed a love-hate relationship from Day One. This was only shattered on Day Ten in the House when Paul made his surprise decision to take Caroline around the world with him.
Caroline and Paul, the thinkers in the House, quickly developed a bond and this was evident in the group portrait task when they chose to immortalise each other in paint.
The final snuggly duo were Tommy and Tracey with the skaterboy showing just how much respect he had for their alliance when he said in his exit interview, "Meeting Tracey is one of the best things that ever happened to me"!
The future...
They might have worked as a group successfully when called upon to, bonded when needed to and got close in order to survive, but only time will tell whether the gang will ever set up a Teen Big Brother reunion!
