Popstars: The Housemates
The teenage housemates form their own pop band...
The sixth and final task for the young housemates is writing and performing their own Spanish pop song.
Told they would write a song in a European language, the group were informed that the choice of country would be decided on the roll of a dice.
"Does anyone know any French?" asked Paul in desperation. "I don't know English, mate," quipped scouser Tracey.
But once again it was down to capable Caroline to take charge of the situation. "Can anyone here play the keyboard?" she asked, before adding boastfully, "I can."
James opted for the role of lead singer but confessed that when it comes to dancing, "I've got two left feet."
Gathering in the storeroom to collect their costumes, the excitable teenagers squealed with delight at the glamour of it all.
"Ooh, party shoes!" cried Caroline as Paul pulled on a blonde mullet wig. "I'm so loving my hair," the trainee coiffeur shouted.

He then danced around singing an old Duran Duran hit, "Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand."
Tommy looked hysterical in an enormous black moustache and sideburns, wearing a silver shirt and trousers. He topped off the look with a huge pair of comedy sunglasses and a curly wig.
But it wasn't long before feuding couple Jade and Paul were at each other's throats again. Paul set Jade off by complaining about the awful din she was making on the keyboard.
"Shut up, Paul!" Jade shouted. "You're not the leader. You can't tell me what to do."
After James and Jade had worked out the lyrics to the song, and Caroline had written the music on the keyboard, the housemates piled into the bedroom for a full dress rehearsal.
It was all going well with everyone getting into the groove until Paul decided he and Tommy knew their dance routines and no longer needed to practise. Once again Paul and Jade got into a petty squabble.
"Lose your attitude, Jade!" shouted the Irish boy.
Let's hope they get over their artistic differences before the show...
