The Common People
Out of all the housemates, it's Jade and Tracey who feel they have the most in common...
On their last day in the House, Jade and Tracey had a cosy chat in
the garden to reflect on what - if anything - they had in common with
the rest of the group.
Jade and Tracey agreed they have plenty of similarities, from a
love of make-up and fashion, to a shared sense of humour. "We
laugh at the same things," they stated, sitting close together,
smiling.
Their feelings toward Ashford girl Caroline, however, are very
different. "Me and Caroline don't have a lot in common,"
noted Lowestoft barmaid Jade.
"Caroline doesn't mix with the girls," observed beauty
therapist Tracey. "She only hangs out with the fellas."

Throughout the last ten days, the girls have failed to bond with
A-level student Caroline, who is very confident and out-going. They
feel she has deliberately distanced herself from them, preferring
to mix with golfing fan James and exhibitionist Paul.
Caroline confirmed the girls' suspicions in the Diary Room earlier.
"I don't have anything in common with Jade or Tracey,"
she stated firmly, making no apologies.
Unlike self-assured Caroline, Jade is far less comfortable joining
in with group discussions than she is chatting on a one-to-one basis.
While the others were discussing exam results today, Jade sat silently
with a bored expression and then changed the subject completely.
"My feet are really cold," she remarked vaguely, to no
one in particular.
It's this lack of confidence in Jade that brings her closer to
Tracey, who as psychiatrist Dr Gareth explains, "can talk at
the rate of 500 words per minute."
Tracey loves to talk and needs very little encouragement. With
Tracey, Jade comes out of her shell and reveals more about herself
- including her likes and dislikes and hopes for the future.
This could be the start of a beautiful friendship
