We grabbed a very excited Paul in Hong Kong, to chat about winning Teen Big Brother and that fabulous round-the-world trip...
How's the trip been going?
It's been fantastic. We're in Hong Kong right now. I'm in the hotel room and Caroline's just gone to the market. We're going out clubbing tonight. Then we're off to Sydney tomorrow, which I'm really looking forward to. We're going to so many places, I just have to take one day at a time or I can't remember where I am! After Australia, we go to LA and then New York. I've been told I'm going to do some work experience there in the fashion industry and I'm really excited about that.
What's been your favourite place?
Koh Samui in Thailand. The beaches were so beautiful it was like being in paradise.
Bangkok was a bit in your face, though.
Is there anything you haven't enjoyed so far?
We went elephant trekking, which I enjoyed, but we had to sleep in a small village and I didn't like that. You basically pay a family to stay in their bamboo hut and they leave the house. But the place was open air and there were these humungous spiders crawling over our beds. I only lasted one night then I was like, "Get me to a hotel!"
How are you and Caroline getting on?
We had a lot of fights at the start. I think we were in each other's faces and we both needed our own space. So we had to learn how to get on with each other. But we're having a great time now. We both love clubbing and shopping! I'm really glad I chose Caroline. She's very mature and seems much older than 18.
Did you feel guilty for not choosing Jade to go with you?
I did feel guilty but basically, in the last few days in the House, we were fighting quite a lot and I didn't know why. I thought if Jade's going to be like that for the next three months then, no way. But we're still friends and we've booked up to go on holiday together to Ibiza next year.
Were you surprised the housemates chose you to win?
Yes, I thought people might find me a bit much. Caroline has told me that she thought I was quite overbearing on the first couple of days. I think I was a bit much, to be honest. But we all had a lot of fun especially at the party on the last night. I so loved my blond wig.
What was your best moment in the Big Brother House?
Definitely winning the prize. I was so shocked all I could do was cry. It's funny because it's the trip I've always wanted to do. I was actually saving up to go backpacking next year to all these places. This way I can do it in style and I don't have to pay!
What did you learn about yourself in the House?
I learnt to be a bit wary of people but also not to trust first impressions. I mean, Hasan and Shaneen were really nice people and I think they got a raw deal. It may not have come across in the show but Hasan was a really funny guy. And Shaneen is just a lovely person who's so caring. I think she may have come across as quite a different person on the programme.
Would you do Big Brother again?
Oh, definitely. I'd love to have stayed in for ten weeks instead of ten days.
Do you think you'll have a career as "the new Brian" [winner of Big Brother 2]?
Oh no, don't say that! Everyone keeps asking me that. I really don't think so!
With that, we left Paul to enjoy the rest of his fabulous trip lucky fella!
