Keeping it real
This new documentary series follows group dynamics expert Kate Marlow as she attempts to improve the performance of three teams that face internal problems.
Each programme features the tough-talking Kate in a series of sit-down sessions with team members over a period of two months. Her frank and confrontational approach is based on her experience as an acting coach.
After taking part in the sessions, each team works towards a final goal or challenge in which they try to demonstrate that they have learned to function in a more effective and harmonious manner.
In the first episode, Kate Marlow tackles Mowgli, a hairdressing salon in London's Primrose Hill. The salon has been successfully cutting and colouring London's smartest set, but cracks in the team are starting to show and an upcoming hair and fashion show could prove the final straw.
In the second programme, Kate turns her attention to Macclesfield Town FC - a 14 member female football team resting in the bottom half of their division. They have the talent to do better, but a change in attitude is needed for them to achieve their goals.
In the final episode, Kate attempts to restore harmony to struggling Liverpool indie rockers, Cassidy. The two brothers, lead singer Paul and guitarist Dave, just can't seem to get it on - and the group are wasting their time with constant in-fighting. Can Kate re-tune their thinking?
