Saturday 15th August, 1998
a car bomb exploded on Market Street in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It killed 28 people – one who was pregnant with twins, and another died later in hospital from his injuries. The bomb also injured or maimed 220 others.

How do individuals and a town recover from such an event? What kind of courage and strength is needed to move forward?

This website brings together reflections from people in Omagh and beyond who were touched by the tragedy.
