Five households of nightmare neighbours move in next door to each other in an isolated, purpose-built village as part of a groundbreaking experiment to see if psychological techniques can be used to turn bad neighbours into good ones. Welcome to
The Nightmares Next Door.
There are the party-loving students from Newcastle, the busybody chairman of the local residents association, the South London family who constantly play loud music, the owners of five unruly dogs and the kids who create havoc in their local neighbourhood.
It's an emotional rollercoaster for the families as they begin life in their new community learning what it's like to live with people as inconsiderate as themselves. Not only do they have to live and deal with each other, but they have to contend with the subtle and cunning manipulations of resident psychologist Dr George Erdos of Newcastle University. Their troubles are only just beginning with the announcement that all the families must share limited water, electricity and food.
As unlikely alliances and friendships develop alongside ferocious enmities and feuds, will these nightmare neighbours learn to bring peace to their troubled community?
