Do you understand how schools provide meals?
What type is your school? This information only applies to maintained (state) schools. Each independent school has its own arrangements for providing meals.
Nursery, primary and special schools can choose
either to have a delegated meals budget, which makes the governing body responsible for providing meals
or it can leave the meals budget and responsibility for catering in the hands of the LEA.
