Purple Dresses
Gok picked Ali out a perfect purple number this week (28 Nov 2007). But it doesn’t matter what dress shape or size you are – you can find a purple dress out there for you.
If you’re a pear then try a dress with a halter neck. It’ll broaden your shoulders and balance out your proportions.
If you’re not as big up top, the halter neck will always make your bangers look bigger.
If you’ve got a gorgeous hourglass figure then you must emphasise that tiny waist of yours. Make sure you pick a fitted dress, but add a waist cinching belt as well.
If you want to bring more attention to your chest, then pick a dress with detailing on the front – it’ll instantly make your chest look bigger.
If you are uber slim and haven’t got any curves then try a sequinned number. Not only will it make the dress look metallic (bang on trend for this year) but it’ll give you curves where none currently exist. A word of warning though, if you’re apple or pear shape (or just have a fulsome frontage) don’t go near this style of dress – it’ll make you look like you’re wearing a tent!
Finally, smock tops are still going strong this winter (2007), so picking up a purple one of these will be hitting two birds with one stone.
