How to Look Good Naked
Make-Up

Expert Tips - Final Fixes: Eyes
If you’re serious about looking sexy in the buff, then get your slap right:

  • Always showcase your best bits.

  • Your eyes are almost always the first thing that anyone notices about you.

  • When you're naked your eyes say it all so go for a contrasting shadow to make them stand out. So, for example, if you have blue eyes make them sparkle with contrasting shades of brown.

  • If your eyes are quite small avoid using dark colours as this will just make them look smaller.

  • If your eyes are quite close together add a little dab of white powder around the tear ducts to space out your eyes, making them look wider.

  • Generally when shading your eyes use no more than four different colours. Apply a very light colour under your eyebrow, a mid-colour on your eyelid, a slightly darker shade in the crease above your eyelid and then finally the really dark shade is your liner under your eye. And stay in your colour family – don't mix colours.

  • Mascara is the most important part of a woman's make-up bag. The jury is out on whether you should use mascara on your top lashes only or on your top and bottom lashes. Saying that, using mascara on your top and bottom lashes can open your eyes up, making them look wider.

  • A well-groomed eyebrow can act like a mini-facelift. It can make your face look more youthful. There are two ways of filling in your eyebrows: powder and pencils. For many, pencils are easier to control and the filler of choice.

  • Expert Tips - Final Fixes: Lips
It's essential to keep your lips looking luscious. Choose a lipstick shade that is two shades darker than your lips – just look inside your bottom lip and match that colour. If you want to wear really strong colours on your lips keep the rest of your make-up natural looking to let the lipstick do the talking.

  • To apply the perfect lipstick, first prime your lips with a little concealer which will give your lips a base for the lip colour to grip to. Next use a lip liner all over your lips first and then apply the lipstick on top. Finally, take some tissue paper and blot, then apply a second layer and blot again and then apply a third layer of lipstick for perfect kissable lips.

  • Lipstick only goes on your teeth if put too much on. To get rid on any excess lipstick, just stick your finger in your mouth and pull.

  • For fuller lips – better known as accentuating the cupid bow – place a small amount of concealer or highlighter just above your top lip so that the light reflection will accentuate that area making your lips look fuller.

  • Lip plumpers work as they have ingredients in them that slightly irritate the skin around your lips, forcing the blood to rush to them making them look plumper. They're fine to use but don't over do it.

  • To make your face look slimmer use a bronzer two shades darker than your foundation to contour your cheekbones, jaw and brow.

  • If you're paler-skinned, less is definitely more. Go easy on the foundation and blusher and concentrate on eye shadow and eyeliner.
