Dressing up is as much about fabric as it is about style, so hot off this season’s catwalk (Winter 2007) are some sumptuous fabrics that will seriously sex you up:

  • Velvet is a delicious fabric but a tricky one to wear. Curvy girls especially should choose lighter velvets like devore which have all the sheen and sensuality but less of the weight.

  • Stiffer velvet can be good for voluptuous girls cos it’ll create structure round your frame.

  • Silk ruffles are uber feminine and sexy. They’re great for drawing attention to your cleavage or for adding volume if you ain’t got a cleavage to show off.

  • If you’re tall you can carry off ruffles head to toe but really, less is more…

  • Fringing is bang on trend and can add real movement to your look. On a skirt, it’s great for top heavy girls cos it’ll balance out our bangers. A fringed dress can work well for hourglass girls cos it sways with your curves.
