Claire, who lives in Northamptonshire with her husband Paul and two children, is size 12-14. Even though the national average is 16, she is convinced that her body is worse than anyone else’s.
Claire’s biggest hang-up is her tummy, and she won’t even let husband Paul get near her: ‘If I think he’s looking at me, or tries to touch my tummy, I tell him to get off,’ she says. Claire's identical twin sister is a petite size 8 and a constant reminder of the body she used to have.
Claire spends her life hiding from the world - covering up with a wardrobe full of baggy v-neck jumpers. She even refuses to take her kids swimming for fear of being seen in a swimsuit. In short, Claire is stuck in a rut.
So fashion stylist and presenter Gok Wan has just four weeks to convince Claire to get out of her rut and start to strut. But can he make her look good, naked?
