This week in our Extreme Test we were trialing Rimmel London’s 1000 Kisses Stay On Lip Liner Pencil, which costs £2.99 (RRP). We wanted to know if it could live up to its name and stay on for 1000 kisses.
So Rebecca applied the Rimmel pencil whilst Carole wore Me Me Me Lip Liner Pencil purchased from Superdrug for £3.95 (RRP). It makes no claims so we used it as a control to show what would happen to an ordinary liner in the same test.
Armed with a hand held clicker each, Carol and Rebecca headed off to Carnaby Street to put the lip liners through their paces. Several hours later, and in the search for many more men, they headed off to RAF Uxbridge.
After hours of puckering up both lip liners finally wore off. Carole’s lasted for nearly 300 kisses whilst the 1,000 kisses lipliner managed 902 kisses before it disappeared – therefore proving that when it comes to kissing it really does have the power to stay put.
