Rachel: I'm 6ft tall, and big all over, size 18–20 with an hour glass figure, large E cup, and muffin top, and quite heavy on the hips. I'd love to ditch the jeans and get into a skirt and boots for winter. I've got very chunky legs, (18 inch calfs) and I can't wear heals because of a serious back injury – which rules out making my legs look leaner – any advice on which skirts to go for?

Gok: Remember girlfriend it's how you feel inside that carries your outfits! You have the amazing luxury of being 6" which I am sure can cause you issues when shopping, but believe you me, your amazing rack and the fact you have the most desireable body shape [hourglass] makes you a great woman to dress. Firstly, skirts. Because of your height I suggest you go for this seasons HOT cut which is mid lengths. Think Orient Express 1940s. These have been seen all over the catwalks this season and although sometimes tricky to pull off, when you get it right you will know it. Mid lengths are great for women who have an issue with their legs, as they cover up the bit of your body you hate the most. Try a flat biker style boot with them to keep it looking current, and use a soft fabric like felt or wool to contrast against the hardness of the leather boot. Allow the skirt to fit comfortably on the hips and if you get one which tapers at the knee, it will really show off your curves and that gorgeous hourglass figure. For the Muffin top, big magic underwear is your way forward and great for this season as it will add an extra layer of warmth! For girls with chunky calfs I suggest you go to a specialist store that sells boots with wide fittings, like Evans who have some great styles. You can try other stores, look for boots with an elasticated section on the top of the boot which wil stretch as much as needed. Because of your back injury, heels are an issue. I suggest you hold your head up high and make your posture do the talking!

Liz: I'm 5'2", vary between sizes 16–18, 34GG bangers, big hips, short legs, but generally hourglass in shape and I need a warm coat for winter but can't find a style which doesn't make either end look enormous! Help!

Gok: Sounds to me like you have a fabulous body and with GG cup bangers, girlfriend you are laughing! A coat for you this season must be tailored, which will showcase that hourglass figure! Try a military style coat, down to just above your knees, which will lengthen you. Get one which works both buttoned up to the neck or can be left open, creating a V neck line. Either single or double breasted will be great. When done up this will make your chest appear smaller for your more modest days and when you wanna rock that rack, open it up and showcase your cleavage with the V neck. A good tip is fabric, try a light fabric which is lined for warmth and won't make you look bigger than you are.
