This script provides support information for anyone with suicidal feelings, those affected by child abuse or bullying or the violent death of a loved one. There's also support for anyone finishing a prison sentence.

If you're feeling distressed and need someone to talk to, you can phone Samaritans at any time of day or night on 08457 90 90 90 or email for support through jo@samaritans.org or go to www.samaritans.org.

The organisation Support after Murder and Manslaughter or SAMM, offer understanding and support to families and friends who have been bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter. You can call their helpline on 0207 735 3838 (Mondays - Fridays 9am - 5pm), where your call will be answered by someone who has suffered a similar tragedy. You can also email to enquiries@samm.org.uk or check the website www.samm.org.uk.

If you're concerned about the safety of a child or you're a young person unhappy for any reason, including bullying, the NSPCC Child Protection Helpline on 0808 800 5000 (free, confidential, 24-hour helpline every day of the year). A free textphone service is in place for people who are hard of hearing on 0800 056 0566. There's also an email helpline on help@nspcc.org.uk Young people can go to a special website www.worriedneed2talk.org.uk.

If you're having problems with bullying, the website Bullying Online contains lots of helpful information on all sorts of bullying including dealing with bullies who taunt others by text messages, go to www.bullying.co.uk. Bullying can make you feel very unhappy and upset and that life isn't worth living but you will come through it. You can email at anytime to help@bullying.co.uk.

Unlock exists to achieve equality for ex-offenders. Staffed by those with first hand experience of the many problems faced by ex-offenders. Unlock advises and assists serving and former prisoners who demonstrate a genuine commitment to lead a crime-free lifestyle, and helps them become productive members of the community.
