Why bother getting off your lilo?

OK, so you’re an empty beer can floating on the great tide of life. Pushed around by forces outside your control. What can l’il ol’ you do about it? Might as well just taking it lying down …

Nothing changes. Might as well kick back – maybe there’s something watchable on the telly?

Hey, you’re happy with the way this country’s going, right? You love the NHS, tuition fees, global warming, Iraq, muggings …

You don’t need to get involved. Everything’s just sweeeeeeeeet …

Why bother sticking your X in the square?

That’s a toughy. Brothas and sistas have died to get their own X. Must have been a damned good reason, no?!

In Clwyd West at the last general election the difference between one party getting in and the next was only 133 votes. Just 133 little Xs. And you have one of those Xs all of your own.

Oh, but they’re all the same, right? Hunting [Conservative] is the same as not hunting [Labour]? Going to war [Labour] is the same as not going to war [Lib Dem]. Right?
