Sawing off a wheelclamp in Westminster

Angle-Grinder Man
A self-proclaimed British 'wheel clamp superhero',
Angle-Grinder Man's beat is in Kent and London. He comes to
the aid of motorists clad in a blue leotard, wielding an angle
grinder to sever wheel clamps from their cars.
Angle-Grinder Man prowls London by night looking for drivers
who've been clamped – and then sets them free. Since he decided
to go 'full-time vigilante' in May 2004, he's sworn to protect
drivers from the perils of clamping firms, speed cameras and the
congestion charge.
A hotline number on the superhero's website offers a free wheel
clamp removal service. 'I am prepared to fight for what is fair
and am making myself available to the public,' Angle-Grinder Man
says. 'I may not be able to single-handedly and totally cast off
the repressive shackles of a corrupt government – but I can cut
off your wheel clamps for you.' |
