What Can I Do About It?

Just Do It

The Bible

A force to transform your life today – not just in the afterlife

Campaigns >Evangelical Alliance

The Evangelical Alliance (EA) describes itself as a 'movement for change'. Its goal is bringing the messages of the Christian Bible to a society that increasingly sees them as irrelevant.

Like the popular Alpha movement, the EA sees Christianity as a force to transform your life today, not just in the afterlife. That can include even the most carnal of pleasures. One of the EA's most popular prayers asks God to increase your sexual appetite!

The EA has interesting methods to go with its interesting prayers. The 'scattered church' approach emphasises meeting in small groups, away from fixed churches. This style, the EA believes, is gaining momentum, as people turn backrooms in their workplaces and houses into temporary local churches. In fact, the model has worked so well that even established denominations are starting to turn to it.

Citing a rise in family breakdowns, single-parent families and people living and having children together outside marriage, the EA sees its message as absolutely critical to today's society.
